Heroes Come in All Shapes, Sizes and AGES

Real Estate is one of the few industries where women are guaranteed the opportunity to make as much as their male counterparts. Isn’t it refreshing to know that if an agent works hard and provides excellent service, she will make the same commission as the male agent she sits next to? Apparently that’s not happening in the leading U.S. corporations or even Hollywood movie lots.   1. This first one is AWESOME! At 14:20 Althea basically says, “Do what you’re good at. Don’t do what you don’t like to do when you are building your business.”
  2. That was one really important Open House! It’s all about relationships. Take a listen as Althea shares how one Open House basically started her Relocation business. You’ll find this at 16:45
  3. Profit Share Check vs. Commission Check? At 20:55, she shares some very sound business advice and a bit of the Keller Williams story. “You’re building a company within a company. There is no risk, no liability and no overhead.” And, “I don’t know how it works, but I get a check in the mail every month and it gets bigger and bigger.” Profit Share should be part of your business plan.
  4. “Don’t say no until you know what you’re saying no to.” At 24:10 in, Althea gives a bit of great advice that basically works in every aspect of life. Have an open mind. Hmmm, simple.
  5. Building Profit Share is easier now then when she started in the early 1980s. Take a listen at 27:00.
  6. “I don’t understand why every agent is not a Keller Williams agent.” Well, of course we agree with her, but learn why she says this at 27:50.
